Aims and Objectives
Our emphasis is on creating positive experiences and developing skills through textiles and fine art. We encourage mending and remaking alongside creating, and support the development of positive relationships and activities.
History and Background
We are enthusiastic about raising awareness of the role of arts in wellbeing. We are experienced educators and teachers and have a team of volunteers who support our activities. Although we are based in Sunderland we work regionally.
Activities and Projects
We have been funded by ESF LA6 and the National Lottery Community Fund to deliver textiles and fine art projects during 2020. We have worked remotely to engage learners, develop skills and improve confidence that may have been adversely affected during the Covid lockdowns. We are looking forward to expanding our course opportunities throughout 2021.
