Aims and Objectives
We provide education, activities, resources, and information to Sunderland residents, to raise awareness in the local community of environmental issues, and how we can contribute on an individual level to positive change for the planet
History and Background
Based in Sunderland North but happy to get involved across the city and even further afield if it provides direct environmental benefits. Environmental issues are a global problem and are not
delimited by borders!
Activities and Projects
We share information on social media to help people make more sustainable lifestyle choices
We run eco friendly craft drop in sessions during school holidays
We attend summer fayres and public events to engage our audience face to face
We run a food surplus scheme in return for pay as you feel donations, with the dual aim of minimising food waste and food poverty
We run workshops to give people the practical tools they need to save money and waste on a daily basis
